Melbourne to Jakarta - Sensory Lab

I have been wanting to try this cafe so much and I finally had the chance to. From what I know, Sensory Lab originally open in Melbourne in several different places.

Sensory lab is located in Pik Avenue just next to H&M. The space of this cafe is not extremely big but not too small too. The seats are all organized well which made the cafe feel much more spacious and comfortable.

Drinks and Food:

Ham and Cheese Baked Rice: 70k

The portion of the rice is quite big, so it is better to be shared with another person. The rice is served with generous amount of ham and cheese which I like. And it is also accompanied with some type of baberque sauce which made everything better. I do think this menu is perfect for kids!

Croquettes: 45k

My favourite out of all! Even though the outside of the croquettes is very crispy, the inside of it is extremely creamy and it melts in your mouth! It is accompanied with mayonnaise like sauce which goes really well with the croquette. The croquette taste equally delicious with or without the sauce. I would definitely order this again in my next visit!

Spicy Chicken Benedict (unsure of the name): 75k

The portion is again very big, so I advice to share with another person. For this one, I should say that it is not my favourite one. At the first bite, i really like it, but as I eat more of it, I do not feel that I could finish all of it as it is overly creamy.

Matche Latte: 35k

Not the best matcha latte I had ever tried as I think the Matcha is not strong enough.

Ice cold white: 45k

I expected more for the coffee but the coffee do not suit my taste that much. In my opinion, the coffee is not sweet and creamy enough. But as I add more sugar to it, the coffee taste much more better!
